Introducing CAFE’s New Academic and Training Program Hub
Are you ready to take your education in health and extreme weather to the next level? Explore hundreds of academic offerings, from research opportunities and courses to degree programs, fellowships, and more. Whether you’re looking to build expertise, pursue a degree, or find your path into the field, CAFE’s Academic and Training Program Hub can help you discover options that fit your goals, interests, and availability. This resource was originally developed with the support of NIH and has since been expanded with CAFE and crowd-sourced suggestions.
For health and extreme weather educational resources that require less time and financial commitment, be sure to check out CAFE’s Educational Resource Hub, which features recorded webinars, tutorials, code repositories, and other tools to advance health and extreme weather research.
Find opportunities that fit your interests
Each listing gives you the essentials at a glance, including the host institution and a quick description of the program. You can also see whether the offering is a synchronous or asynchronous opportunity, and whether it’s offered in person, online, or in a hybrid format. You can browse by one of sixteen focus areas such as emergency management, geoscience, and public health, and filter by offering type, format, and location. You can also search for key words to direct you towards opportunities that match your interests.
Adding an opportunity
The Hub is not a comprehensive list, and we need your help to make it grow! It currently includes many opportunities focused on disaster preparedness, and we are working to add more offerings specifically related to health and extreme weather.
If you would like to add an academic opportunity that’s not already included in The Hub, please use this submission form. We invite the addition of health and extreme weather academic offerings from around the world. Please note that, because this is a crowd-sourced database, CAFE does not verify the quality nor endorse the use of any materials included in the database. We kindly request that you follow the terms of use and attribution requirements for each resource.
Help Improve The Hub
Please tell us what you think! By responding to a one-question survey (on The Hub’s page, in the green bar under the results), you will help guide CAFE’s future programming and resource development.
