Introducing our Matchmaking Tool!
This tool is intended to help connect members of the community with each other. We offer both peer-to-peer mentorship and an opportunity to collaborate with other members of the community of practice.
Looking for expertise on a specific topic or a collaborator for your project? Need help finding a specific data set? Have an area in which you need mentorship?
Submit this form to let us know what you are looking for.
We will work as promptly as possible to find a match for you. Please be as specific and descriptive as possible with your current skills and goals with your potential match as this will create a smoother and quicker process.
In this new iteration we offer four types of matching.
- PhD/Early Career Peer Mentorship: This is a rolling application mentorship program for PhD students or new post-docs looking for 1-on-1 mentorship with a similar level researcher.
- Research Collaboration: This is a rolling application, we will search for potential collaborators based on skill, need, and topical interests.
- Topical or Location-Based Expertise: For individuals seeking quick guidance or answers to specific topic- or location-based research questions.
- Data Resources: This is for individuals seeking datasets or data resources that are not available through the Harvard Dataverse.
Please note, this is not a matching service for funding sources. We will continue to share funding opportunities on our news page and in our newsletter. Unless otherwise noted, the resources or connections we provide are not organized or endorsed by CAFE. We are not responsible for the content of resources or the accuracy of information shared to our team.
In the mean time, have you checked our existing resources for what you need?
- Crowdsourced Resource Collection
- CAFE Dataverse Collection—an open-source repository where you can find or share data key to environmental health research.
- Did you know you can contribute your own data to help increase data sharing and access within our community?
- CAFE community Github repository—code, tutorials, and tips on working with common data formats and source.
